Citypress hired for CustomerMinds' UK launch
18 June 2009

An innovative, Irish marketing software specialist has appointed PR and communications agency Citypress to manage its launch into the UK market.
CustomerMinds, which provides a self-service, online tool allowing businesses to set up and manage their own e-mail and SMS marketing campaigns, has recently set up an office for its UK sales team in Exchange Quays in Salford Quays with the hope that it will be able to expand its customer base across the UK.
The company was founded in Dublin in 2007 and is backed by Enterprise Ireland £ the Irish State investment agency for high potential companies. It has already been recognised as the 'Newcomer with most potential to internationalise' at the 2009 Digital Media Awards and was shortlisted for the Silicon Valley ITLG 2009 Innovation Award.
CustomerMinds' clients in Ireland include David Lloyd gyms and DIY chain Woody's. Key UK clients already include Burnley FC, Leeds Rhinos and Stoke City FC.
Citypress director Steve Leigh said: "CustomerMinds allows any business to run e-mail and SMS marketing campaigns that are sensitive to its customers' individual profiles and interests. We are looking forward to working with their UK team and contributing to business' continued success."
Mike McMahon, CEO of CustomerMinds, said: "We expect that our push into the UK market will enable us to triple last year's revenues to 1.5 million EUR. Citypress has an excellent reputation and we're sure that the team there can help us to reach our targets."
