Journalists join digital team

Two online journalists have joined Citypress to strengthen our digital content team.
Rosie Park (left) joins the agency as content manager after spending two years at tailored news provider Adfero, where she led a team of online journalists in her role as desk head. Molly Jones also joins as a content manager from the Manchester Evening News, where she produced on and off-line consumer features.
Citypress managing director Charles Tattersall said: "There's often a missing link between digital, SEO and PR agencies. Typically, none of the three disciplines combine an understanding of SEO with the ability to produce top quality engaging content that works across all online channels.
"Our new team has been set up to take advantage of this opportunity. We've already seen clients migrate the responsibility for their website development and digital strategies to us because we have an experienced in-house team of developers, designers and writers that are trained to produce SEO copy. Few other agencies are offering this mix.
"We are also one of the few PR agencies in the North that is committed to formal digital training for our consultants. Everyone at the agency receives SEO writing and online PR training with Econsultancy, which provides digital training for Microsoft, MySpace, Random House, Sony Computer Entertainment (Europe) and Time Warner."
