Citypress achieves the gold standard for PR agencies — again
- Tuesday 09 Dec, 2014
We’ve been awarded the Consultancy Management Standard by the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA), the largest industry association in Europe.
We retained the hallmark of PR excellence for the second time after a comprehensive audit of our quality standards in management, communication and service delivery. The internationally recognised accreditation — known as the gold standard of service for public relations agencies — is the industry’s stamp of quality.
Chief executive, Charles Tattersall, said: “At Citypress we pride ourselves on offering the highest standards of service and the PRCA’s endorsement backs that up. I’m pleased to say that we passed with flying colours. We scored 93.4% overall, which is well above the industry average.
“The auditors highlighted the high standard of working practices that have put Citypress in the top tier of UK PR agencies and helped us achieve significant growth in the last few years.”
The audit looks at leadership and communication, business planning, business improvement, financial systems, campaign management, client satisfaction, people management and diversity.
The news comes on the back of a string of new business wins for our consultancy, including Begbies Traynor, the UK’s leading business rescue and recovery specialist, and glass manufacturer Pilkington UK.
Citypress was also a winner at the recent Grocer Marketing Advertising and PR Awards, which recognise creativity and achievement in the FMCG and grocery retail industry. We picked up the Trade PR Agency of the Year Award for our work with the likes of Coca Cola Enterprises, Conviviality Retail plc, The Midcounties Co-operative and Princes food and drink group.
