Ruth Clifford, new director of social at Citypress

Citypress hires new social media director

We’ve appointed Ruth Clifford as director of social media.

Ruth joins our Manchester headquarters from Golin London, where she was a digital director, leading social media programmes for brands including Toblerone, Unilever, Johnnie Walker and Great Western Railway.

With more than seven years’ experience, Ruth will now be responsible for expanding Citypress’ specialist social media team, which includes designers, photographers, copywriters and analysts.

Ruth’s appointment follows a strong half year for Citypress, with the agency picking up PRWeek’s Best Place to Work for a second time, as well as winning PRmoment Large Agency of the Year for a second successive year.
