Digital and Social Analyst at Citypress in Manchester
Citypress is looking for an experienced digital and social analyst to join our research and insights team and support our growing social media practice.
The role will give you the opportunity to work across the whole business, analysing social campaigns for big-name brands — identifying what works and what doesn’t, setting and measuring KPIs and identifying key insights and trends to help us shape campaign strategy. You will be responsible for extracting and interpreting significant volumes of data from multiple systems including social listening and Google Analytics.
We’re looking for someone with a minimum of two years’ experience who has a passion for social media and digital. The ideal candidate will have relevant & proven experience across key social media sites as well as experience of at least one social listening platform, a firm grasp of paid social and proven experience in Google Analytics. You will have excellent research and communication skills as well as the ability to work within defined deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, you will have a proven commitment to keeping up to date with the latest communication technologies.

•Strategically monitor & report on social media campaigns across a range of platforms
•Research and develop ways to enhance social media campaigns
•Provide input into the development of client social media strategies
•Keep the organisation up to date with the latest technologies; including researching and evaluating a variety of online social media/digital reporting tools, metrics and models to identify new opportunities
•Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting of social and digital campaigns
•At least 2 years of relevant work experience is a must
•Relevant & proven experience across key social media sites.
•Familiarity with one or more social media listening platforms.
•Experience working with in an agency or with cross-functional teams (preferred).
•Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced environment.
•Proven commitment to keeping up to date with the latest communication technologies.
•Excellent numerical skills.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
