Bruntwood: Keeping Britain’s regional investment on track

Bruntwood has been creating thriving cities and town centres for almost 50 years.

It plays a pivotal role in creating vibrant places and unlocking economic potential. It has £2bn in assets and more than 100 properties across Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Birmingham, Cambridge and Glasgow, and drives investment into the UK’s regions to promote growth. 

Transport infrastructure has long been at the heart of this, with issues across the UK’s regional railways coming to a head in 2023. We saw these challenges as an opportunity for Bruntwood to lead the conversation on the need for strong infrastructure to support international investment into the UK economy.  

We wanted to reach SMEs, large corporates, civic leaders and community organisations to showcase its commitment to the UK’s regional cities and lobby the Government on an issue that was stifling growth.   

This campaign led to coverage for key Bruntwood leaders – including its CEO Chris Oglesby – with The Guardian, Sky News and the BBC’s Today Programme, as well as business and regional press, ensuring that Bruntwood continues to lead the narrative when it comes to the growth of the country’s knowledge economies.
