NHS Nightingale

We seconded a team of comms specialists to support the launch of the new NHS Nightingale Hospital North West based at Manchester Central.

The 750 bed unit – one of several field hospitals set up by the Government to relieve pressure on the NHS following the Coronavirus outbreak – went operational in just two weeks.

Our pro bono support included production of the official launch ceremony video – including addresses from The Rt Hon Matt Hancock, NHS Chief Executive Sir Simon Stephens and HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, who performed the virtual ribbon cutting.

We also created a series of ‘thank you’ videos featuring local sportspeople, actors, TV and radio personalities and dignitaries to play to staff before their first shift.

Ongoing support includes social videos and other assets, employee newsletters and media relations.
