Citypress climbs PRWeek rankings and retains Best Places to Work gold award

17th September 2020

We’ve continued our rise up the PRWeek UK Top 150, the annual ranking of PR consultancies, jumping from 49th place last year to 45th in 2018.

The list ranks agencies according to their size and growth, as well as their performance in practice areas including consumer, corporate and public sector.

The news comes just days after we were awarded the PRWeek Best Places to Work gold award (mid-sized agency category) for the second year running.

From a record number of entries, the judges highlighted our low staff turnover and innovative approach to learning and development, where 20 per cent of team hours are reserved for personal coaching and training.

And we were singled out for an extra accolade, winning the Organisational Health award for our employee welfare programme, which includes regular ‘balance days’ where colleagues can work from wherever they like, enhanced maternity policy and ring-fenced time for pro bono work.

It’s been a successful start to the year for Citypress. We were named by the Sunday Times as one of the 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2018, the only PR agency to make the list.

Want to join our team? We’re currently looking for creative, ambitious and entrepreneurial people in Manchester, Birmingham and London.
