Brabners: Cause célèbre

Independent law firm, Brabners, wanted to raise its national profile and help its litigation team continue to secure complex work for well-known celebrities.

Working in tandem with Brabners’ partners and lawyers, we helped shape the media narrative around a series of high-profile cases. This included Coleen Rooney’s ‘Wagatha Christie’ libel dispute, dubbed the libel case of the century, as well as Ben Stokes’ privacy claim against The Sun, and Michael Vaughan’s ECB hearing relating to claims of institutional racism at Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

We combined targeted briefings with influencers and journalists, rapid response to own key moments in each case, and unique behind-the-scenes access to Brabners’ team to build a substantial profile for the firm. We also helped launch and promote a unique Rooney vs Vardy: The Breakdown podcast, which featured contributions from broadsheet journalists and legal experts to provide unparalleled insights into this extraordinary case.

In each case, we were able to secure wall-to-wall coverage across national and broadcast media and highlight Brabners’ ability to convert losing positions into winning ones – securing industry accolades for the firm and new briefs for its litigation practice.
